America's Unofficial Ambassadors

We work at the grassroots level throughout the Muslim World to counter violent extremism before it takes hold, to promote tolerance and understanding, and to foster better relations with the United States.

Thanks AUA!

At America’s Unofficial Ambassadors, we love getting postcards from our volunteers.

Mosaic Fellowship recipient Heather Saenz is now serving in Oman with AIESEC. But before she left, Heather sent us this beautiful hand-written thank you card.

“Thank you so much for awarding me the AUA Mosaic Fellowship,” Heather writes. “This award has become the beginning of my journey after college graduation, furthering my personal knowledge of the MENA region. I am inspired by the mission of AUA to engage in cultural exchange and to learn from the challenges ahead.”

Thanks, Heather. Best of luck on your journey.
