As graduation season approaches, it feels like an appropriate time to send out a few updates on some of our EA “Alumni” – folks whose work we have featured here on the website, and who have exciting news about their initiatives!

1. Remember our friend Toni Maraviglia in Kenya? Her mobile phone-based education tool “MPrep” just received a $200,000 angel investment, allowing her team to scale up operations and continue their life-changing work across rural Kenya. Congratulations, Toni!

2. Many readers appreciated the words of Daniela Papi, when she wrote about her Screen shot 2013-05-15 at 12.06.05 PMorganization PEPY Tours.  Did you know she was just featured on BBC this past week?
