S2S: The Carter Academy’s New Science Equipment

American teacher Sam Schindler of the Lancaster Country Day School (LCDS) is in Bangladesh right now with the School-2-School program and has just helped folks at his partner school, The Carter Academy, to set up a host of new chemistry equipment LCDS donated to them.

Special thanks goes to everyone at LCDS for providing the equipment and supporting Sam on his journey! The donation will go towards strengthening science classes at the academy, which provides education to promising students from some of Bangladesh’s most under-served communities. The equipment includes 7 condensers, 2 rough balances, 3 water baths, 3 suction pumps, 3 vacuum desecrators, 3 keep machines and 5 livid condensers. Check out a video from Sam here:

Meanwhile, Sam is busy teaching at the academy for a while, connecting with the students and his fellow teachers. Look for more posts from Sam later this week.
