America's Unofficial Ambassadors

We work at the grassroots level throughout the Muslim World to counter violent extremism before it takes hold, to promote tolerance and understanding, and to foster better relations with the United States.

A Season of Giving

To All Past and Future AUA Donors and Volunteers:

In honor of lnternational Volunteer Day on Thursday, all of us at America’s Unofficial Ambassadors would like to thank you.  We appreciate your efforts in creating long-lasting partnerships between the United States and the Muslim World, your commitment to human development, and your vital role in international citizen diplomacy today.  Most of all, we want you to recognize that the future of international relations lies in the hands of volunteers and donors like YOU.

In order for unofficial ambassadors to continue changing lives, we encourage you to contribute TODAY! AUA is taking part in #GivingTuesday today, an initiative encouraging people to participate in the holiday season by making the world a better place.  In order to continue funding America’s Unofficial Ambassadors’ programs and volunteers, we ask you to donate today.

As a celebration of all of our past unofficial ambassadors and of the lasting footprint which AUA has left on communities and lives in the Muslim World, this week we will be re-posting 10 of our favorite blog posts from the past.  We encourage you to read, comment, and to give in celebration of Giving Tuesday in order to fund future unofficial ambassadors.
