America's Unofficial Ambassadors

We work at the grassroots level throughout the Muslim World to counter violent extremism before it takes hold, to promote tolerance and understanding, and to foster better relations with the United States.

Welcoming and Understanding

Unofficial Ambassador to Morocco and Villanova University’s Lily Haddad is featured on the Everyday Ambassador Blog! This summer, Lily is interning as a summer camp coordinator and counselor at the Azrou Center for Community Development, in Azrou, Morocco. She is very excited to be immersed in Moroccan culture and improve her Arabic. After graduation, Lily hopes to pursue graduate education and a career in International Law and Development. We hope Lily’s essay will help and encourage anyone who has been hesitant to travel to Morocco!
