America's Unofficial Ambassadors

We work at the grassroots level throughout the Muslim World to counter violent extremism before it takes hold, to promote tolerance and understanding, and to foster better relations with the United States.

Breaking Down Barriers

Unofficial Ambassador Sasha Clark has been published by Everyday Ambassador! Sasha Clark is a rising junior at Lehigh University and is currently enjoying her first trip abroad to Morocco as an Unofficial Ambassador. She is interning at the Greenside Development Foundation in Imouzzer, Morocco, where she is working on the foundation’s outreach efforts and teaching English at the local women’s center. She is excited to travel this summer and immerse herself in a new culture, while also developing her language skills. We hope you enjoy her thoughtful piece on ways volunteering abroad has taught her how to adapt to a new community!
