America's Unofficial Ambassadors

We work at the grassroots level throughout the Muslim World to counter violent extremism before it takes hold, to promote tolerance and understanding, and to foster better relations with the United States.

Are Muslim Women Oppressed? Not the Ones I Know

Unofficial Ambassador to Tajikistan Catie Carson has been featured in The Arizona Republic! Catie Carson is a rising junior at Barrett, the Honors College at Arizona State University, pursuing a major in psychology and minors in Mandarin and Justice Studies. This summer, she interned with IRODA, the only non-government Autism Spectrum Disorder advocacy organization in Tajikistan.  We hope you enjoy this excellent piece, which challenges the reader to reevaluate misconceptions of Muslim women. Enjoy!
